A few of the workshops we offer; each can be tailored to fit your school's schedule and needs. We can work with groups of different ages, including mixed-gender groups.

Leadership and Power

Participants explore different styles of leadership and reflect on their own, building self-awareness and confidence as emerging leaders.

Becoming a Powerful Public Speaker

This workshop encourages learners to harness the power of their voices to not only express themselves in a variety of settings, but also to mobilize support for causes close to their hearts.

Build confidence and practical skills for speaking clearly and engagingly in front of an audience

Learn how to identify an issue, communicate why it matters, and develop a compelling pitch

Practice presenting your ideas and receive feedback to strengthen your message and delivery

Exploring the Sustainable Development Goals

Participants explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how young people and organizations can take action to address global and local challenges.

Investigate real-world statistics and discover the challenges behind different SDGs

Look for examples of collaboration, community action, and SDG-related work in the world around you

Explore how individuals and groups, including young people, can turn ideas into meaningful action

Prefer to bring your students to us? Workshops can also be hosted at KiezLab, our co-working space in Berlin, a hands-on, inspiring environment that's already home to Girls Gearing Up programming. The dynamic environment also serves as an opportunity for students to explore nonprofit work in a real-world setting, seeing firsthand what collaboration, community, and purpose-driven work can look like.
