Girls Gearing Up (GGU) is Europe's first international leadership academy for teen girls — and a vibrant, global community of changemakers. Since 2014, we’ve been empowering girls aged 13–17 from all backgrounds to step into their power, develop leadership skills, and create meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

Skill-Building Workshops
Through hands-on activities and expert-led sessions, participants build confidence, leadership skills, and practical tools for creating change. They develop key skills like project management, communication, and financial literacy, while exploring creativity and problem-solving.

At GGU, our ultimate goal is to ensure that every girl — no matter where she comes from — has the opportunity to discover her voice, grow into her leadership potential, and use her power to shape a more just and inclusive world.
We strive to create spaces where girls are seen, heard, and celebrated; where they can build confidence, learn practical skills, and develop a strong sense of purpose. Through our programs, we aim to spark global connections, foster empathy and understanding across cultures, and support girls in becoming bold, compassionate changemakers in their communities and beyond.
